Good Government
In partnership with the mayor, we want Aldermen to create a city government that is as efficient as it is progressive—delivering robust public services while maintaining a strong credit rating.
To achieve this, we need to shake up City Hall and fundamentally rethink our approach to spending. Instead of focusing on how many percentage points we can increase funding for specific programs or perks, we should ask whether we even need them and whether they align with our city's priorities. Tough decisions must be made about the role of City Hall, legacy liabilities, and the structure of government to begin saving taxpayer dollars and strengthening our public services.
